My recipe:
In a skillet put 1/2 an inch to an inch deep of oil. Heat to 350 on medium heat. (When you place a fork in the oil, bubbles should come off the fork immediately)
Meanwhile, Dry the pickles with a paper towel. Use 2/3 cup of pickle juice and mix it with the egg, buttermilk, 1 tablespoon flour, and 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce. In a ziploc bag mix the rest of the flour, cayenne pepper, black pepper, garlic powder, and salt.
5-6 at a time place the pickles in the egg mixture. Then shake them up in the flour mixture in the bag until fully coated. Fry in the oil approximately a minute on each side. Let them dry on a paper towel. EAT THEM!
Optional: Dip them in ranch dressing. Yum!
